Current Free Tier
Free tier users acknowledge and agree that:
- Free access does not constitute a contractual right to continued free service
- Features available on the free tier may be moved to paid tiers without notice
- Usage limits (tickets, exports, events, scanners) may be introduced or reduced at any time
- Transitioning from free to paid does not constitute a material breach by the Platform
- Data created during the free tier may be subject to retention limits upon expiry or plan changes
Subscription Plans
When paid plans are introduced, YourTicket Event may offer one or more subscription tiers. The current plan structure is subject to change. Potential plan tiers may include, but are not limited to:
- Free — basic access with usage limits
- Starter — individual event organizers with expanded limits
- Pro — professional organizers with advanced features
- Enterprise — large organizations with custom limits and dedicated support
The specific features, limits, and prices associated with each plan will be published on the Platform's pricing page at the time paid plans are introduced. YourTicket Event reserves the right to add, remove, merge, or restructure plan tiers at any time.
Billing & Payments
When paid subscriptions are active, the following billing terms apply:
- Billing cycles begin on the date you subscribe and renew automatically
- Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year at the time of purchase
- Monthly plans are billed on the same calendar date each month
- Fees are quoted and charged in United States Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise
- Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) will be added where required by law
- Payment failure may result in immediate service suspension pending resolution
- You are responsible for keeping your payment method current and valid
Pricing Changes
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not accept the new pricing, you must cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period.
YourTicket Event may also introduce additional fees for specific features, export operations, ticket volumes, or storage beyond your plan's included limits. Such add-on fees will be disclosed before they are incurred where reasonably practicable.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. The following cancellation terms apply:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period
- Cancellation prevents future charges but does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid
- Upon cancellation, your account may revert to the free tier with applicable limitations
- Data retention after downgrade is subject to the then-current free tier storage limits
- Reactivation of a cancelled subscription may require a new subscription setup
To cancel, navigate to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or contact support through your dashboard. Cancellation requests submitted via email may take up to 3 business days to process.
Refund Policy
Exceptions may be considered at the sole discretion of YourTicket Event in the following limited circumstances:
- Duplicate charges caused by a billing system error on our part
- Charges made after a verified cancellation confirmation was issued
- Statutory refund rights mandated by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction
To request a refund consideration, contact support within 7 days of the charge in question. Include your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request. Refund determinations are final and at our sole discretion.
Failed Payments & Account Suspension
If a payment fails for any reason, the following process applies:
- We will attempt to retry the charge according to our payment processor's retry schedule
- You will receive email notification of the failed payment and a grace period to update your payment method
- If payment is not resolved within the grace period, your account may be downgraded or suspended
- During suspension, you retain read-only access to your data but cannot create new exports or events
- Accounts suspended for non-payment for more than 90 days may be subject to data deletion
- Reactivation requires payment of all outstanding balances before access is restored
You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid and has sufficient funds.YourTicket Event is not liable for service interruptions caused by payment failures on your part.
Chargeback & Dispute Policy
Before initiating a chargeback, contact our support team to attempt resolution. We will work to resolve legitimate billing disputes promptly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account
- Recovery of the disputed amount plus applicable chargeback fees
- Reporting to payment processor fraud databases
- Legal action for recovery of amounts owed
Plan Changes & Upgrades
You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time:
- Upgrades take effect immediately; you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle; no refund is issued for the difference
- Feature access changes upon plan change may be immediate
- Downgrading may result in loss of access to features or data that exceed the lower plan's limits
- You are responsible for ensuring your content and usage comply with the new plan's limits before downgrading
Usage Limits & Overages
Each subscription plan includes defined usage limits. When you approach or reach these limits:
- You may receive in-platform warnings as you approach your plan limits
- Some operations may be blocked or throttled once limits are reached
- Overage fees may apply for usage beyond plan limits, as disclosed in the current pricing schedule
- Upgrading to a higher plan immediately restores access to higher limits
- YourTicket Event reserves the right to introduce, modify, or enforce usage limits at any time
Free Trials
YourTicket Event may offer free trial periods for paid plans at its discretion. Unless otherwise stated:
- A valid payment method may be required to start a free trial
- Your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial period unless cancelled
- You will be charged the full plan price on the day the trial expires
- Free trials may not be combined with other promotional offers
- YourTicket Event reserves the right to modify or discontinue free trial offerings at any time
Taxes
You are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with your subscription. Where YourTicket Eventis legally required to collect taxes (including VAT, GST, or state/local sales tax), these will be added to your invoice and charged to your payment method. Tax rates are determined based on your billing address and applicable law.
If you are a tax-exempt entity, you must provide valid exemption documentation prior to being invoiced. Tax exemptions cannot be applied retroactively to past invoices. Contact support to submit tax exemption documentation.
Changes to This Policy
YourTicket Event reserves the right to modify this Subscription & Billing Policy at any time. Material changes affecting active subscriptions or billing practices will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice via email or in-platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
