Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using YourTicket Event ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), including registering an account, creating events, generating tickets, or scanning tickets, you ("User," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Subscription & Billing Policy, all of which are incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, organization, church, school, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Description of Service
YourTicket Event is a software-as-a-service platform that enables users to design, number, generate, and export event tickets in PDF format; manage events; validate and scan tickets using QR codes; manage scanner devices; and access event reporting. The Platform is provided for lawful event management purposes only.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
Account Registration
To use the Platform, you must register for an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register.
- You may not use another person's account without authorization.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not create accounts for deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes.
- One natural person or legal entity per account unless otherwise authorized.
We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or refuse any account at our sole discretion.
Free Service & Future Billing
YourTicket Event expressly reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to introduce, modify, or enforce any of the following at any time, with or without prior notice:
- Subscription plans and recurring billing
- Premium features, advanced tools, or add-ons with associated fees
- Per-ticket fees, transaction fees, or export fees
- Monthly, annual, or usage-based service charges
- Storage limits, ticket generation limits, or export limits
- Account tier restrictions and feature access levels
- Pricing adjustments or plan restructuring
By creating an account, you acknowledge this right and agree that transitioning from free to paid service does not constitute a material breach by YourTicket Event. Your continued use of the Platform after any pricing changes are announced constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
User Responsibilities
You are solely and entirely responsible for all activities conducted through your account. This includes, but is not limited to:
- All tickets you create, design, number, print, distribute, or sell
- The accuracy of event information, dates, venues, and ticket quantities
- How your tickets are distributed, sold, or transferred
- QR code sharing, duplication, or misuse
- Ticket scanning operations and attendee validation procedures
- Compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations
- Collection, reporting, and remittance of all applicable taxes and fees
- Obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and venue approvals for your events
- Security of your event, venue, and attendees
- All hardware, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and internet connectivity used
- Ensuring the platform is used only for lawful, legitimate events
YourTicket Event does not verify event legitimacy, ticket authenticity, organizer credentials, or event licensing. You assume full responsibility for operating your events in compliance with all applicable laws.
Ticketing Operations & QR Code Usage
The Platform provides tools for generating numbered tickets with embedded QR codes for validation purposes. You acknowledge and agree to the following:
- YourTicket Event does not guarantee that any specific QR scanner hardware or third-party device will be compatible with the Platform.
- Ticket validation accuracy depends on network connectivity, hardware quality, and proper configuration.
- Duplicate scan detection operates on a best-effort basis and does not guarantee fraud prevention.
- You are responsible for configuring scan modes, access levels, and scanner device authorization.
- Printed tickets remain your responsibility once exported from the Platform.
- YourTicket Event cannot prevent third parties from scanning, photographing, or copying physical or digital tickets.
Fraud, Counterfeiting & No Liability
You agree that YourTicket Event is a technology tool, not a guarantor of event legitimacy or ticket security. The Platform's QR scanning and validation features are provided as organizational aids and do not constitute security guarantees.
If you experience fraud, ticket counterfeiting, or financial losses related to events managed through the Platform, you must address such matters through your own legal channels. YourTicket Event will not be a party to such disputes and accepts no financial or legal liability.
Suspension, Termination & Account Actions
YourTicket Event reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or liability, to suspend, investigate, restrict, refuse service to, disable features for, or permanently terminate any account, subscription, event, or access in cases involving, but not limited to:
- Suspected fraud, abuse, or deceptive practices
- Unpaid subscription fees or chargeback abuse
- Excessive resource usage or system exploitation
- Violation of these Terms or any applicable laws
- Illegal activity, content, or event operations
- Ticket manipulation, unauthorized duplication, or fraudulent distribution
- Creation of fake, deceptive, or harmful events
- Harassment of other users or platform staff
- Actions that compromise platform integrity or security
- Multiple policy violations or repeated warnings
Upon termination: access to the Platform ceases immediately; saved projects, events, and data may be permanently deleted; no refunds will be issued for any prepaid subscription fees. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
No Service Guarantee
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will meet your requirements; (b) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free; (c) any defects in the Service will be corrected; or (d) the results of using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall YourTicket Event's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to YourTicket Eventin the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States Dollars (USD $100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Account Control & Modifications
YourTicket Event expressly reserves the right to modify, update, restrict, or otherwise change any of the following at any time, with or without notice:
- Platform features, tools, and functionality
- Subscription plan structures, pricing, and billing terms
- Account access levels and feature availability
- Ticket generation, export, or storage limits per account
- Scanner device limits or event capacity caps
- Platform branding, domain, or service identity
- Data retention policies and backup schedules
- API access, integration capabilities, or third-party connections
Material changes that affect billing will be communicated via email or in-platform notification where reasonably practicable. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Platform — including but not limited to software, code, design, logos, trademarks, documentation, and feature implementations — is and remains the exclusive property of YourTicket Event and its licensors. You receive no ownership rights by using the Platform.
You retain ownership of content you upload (ticket artwork, event information). By uploading content, you grant YourTicket Event a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display such content solely to provide the Service.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without express written consent.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules. Class action lawsuits are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We may also provide notice through the Platform or by email at our discretion. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
If you do not agree to any revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform immediately and may request account deletion by contacting support.
